Ko Olina Thanksgiving Outreach to serve thousands

November 16th, 2009 by Lorraine

Ko Olina Charities, will be hosting its 11th annual Ko Olina Thanksgiving Outreach.

Serving churches with homeless, needy or single-parent West Oahu families from Waianae, Maili, Nanakuli, Kapolei, Ewa Beach, Waipahu and Pearl City, Ko Olina Resort members will assemble and deliver 4,000 meals to them this Saturday. The annual community event is the largest holiday outreach on Oahu.

While it looks like they have enough volunteers, Ko Olina Charities relies on monetary donations for its annual Thanksgiving Outreach. Interested donors may send checks to Ko Olina Charities Thanksgiving Outreach, 92-1480 Aliinui Drive, Kapolei, Hawaii 96707. For more information, contact Ko Olina Thanksgiving Outreach Coordinator Natasha Clarin at 808-671-2512.
